PRIVACY POLICY

GVZ Components S.r.l. (VAT: IT04126380155), with registered office in Rho (MI), Via Magenta, 77/16 A (hereinafter GVZ and/or Data Controller), as the Data Controller, provides users browsing the website with this privacy notice, pursuant to Article 13 of the European Privacy Regulation 2016/679 ("GDPR"), regarding the purposes and methods of processing personal data.

1. Subject of the Processing
The Data Controller processes: data provided by the User, identifying and contact data (including but not limited to name, surname, postal address, email address, telephone number).

2. Purpose of the Processing
The data will be processed lawfully and fairly for the following purposes:
a) to recontact the User in order to respond to any requests submitted via the data collection forms available on the website (Art. 6 letter b), GDPR);
b) to subscribe to the GVZ Components newsletter, by entering the email address in the appropriate form, with the option to unsubscribe at any time via the dedicated link;
c) to fulfil the legal and tax obligations to which the Data Controller is subject (Art. 6 letter c), GDPR);
d) for the pursuit of the legitimate interest identified by the Data Controller on the basis of a balancing of interests carried out (Art. 6 letter f), GDPR);
e) in the event it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend a right in court.

3. Mandatory or Optional Nature of Data Provision
The provision of data for the purposes indicated is not mandatory but is necessary to benefit from the requested services.

4. Methods of Processing
The processing of personal data is carried out through the operations indicated in Article 4 no. 2) of the GDPR, namely: collection, recording, organisation, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, retrieval, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, erasure and destruction of data. Personal data are processed both on paper and electronically and/or automatically.

5. Data Retention
Personal data collected for the purposes set out in this notice will be retained for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and in compliance with applicable regulations; for the newsletter service, data will be retained until unsubscription. Thereafter, the data will be deleted or anonymised.

6. Access to and Communication of Data
User personal data may be accessed by:
i) employees and/or collaborators of the Data Controller in their capacity as authorised persons and/or system administrators;
ii) service providers that carry out outsourced activities on behalf of the Data Controller in their capacity as external data processors and/or sub-processors, performing activities connected with, instrumental to, or supporting those of the Controller, for example: management and maintenance of website content, customer support, help desk services, etc.

The Data Controller may also disclose User data to third parties (Public Authorities, Law Enforcement, or other public and private entities) solely to fulfil contractual and/or legal obligations.

7. Data Transfers
No data transfers to non-EU countries or international organisations are envisaged. Should such transfers occur, the Data Controller will adopt the appropriate safeguards as provided for by the GDPR to protect User data, including adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

8. Data Subject Rights
In accordance with Articles 15 to 21 of the GDPR, the User may exercise the rights listed therein at any time, including:

  • Right of access (Article 15, GDPR)

  • Right to rectification (Article 16, GDPR)

  • Right to erasure (Article 17, GDPR)

  • Right to restriction of processing (Article 18, GDPR)

  • Right to data portability (Article 20, GDPR)

  • Right to object to processing (Article 21, GDPR)

In all the above cases, where necessary, GVZ will inform third parties to whom personal data have been disclosed of the User’s possible exercise of rights, except for specific cases (e.g., where this proves impossible or requires disproportionate effort in relation to the right exercised).

9. How to Exercise Your Rights
