The SSF212 Series float switch is a horizontally mounted switch that is mounted externally in the side of the tank, with a 1/2" NPT thread (can fit 1/2" BSP, with thread sealing compound).
The stem is manufactured in 304 grade and the float in 316 grade Stainless Steel, for those liquids and environments that require the use of Stainless Steel and will work in liquids of SG 0.8 minimum. The switch action may be reversed by mounting the device with the orientation arrow pointing downwards, instead of the normal upwards direction.  
Versions available with flying lead, M12 circular or DIN 43650 connection.
