KLIXON® 4344 Series Hermetic Half-inch Thermostat is ideal for commercial applications in harsh environments, or where long life and repeatability are crucial. It uses a snap-acting bi-metallic disc housed in a hermetic package to achieve crisp, positive, and repeatable switching action over a long cycle life.
Typical applications for KLIXON® 4344 series thermostats include submersible pump motor protection, fire suppression equipment, hazardous duty motors, marine engine heaters, heated drain valves, semiconductor cryogenic pumps, medial x-ray equipment, incubators, and airport lighting. New designs are available with stainless steel external components and can be packaged with wire leads, multiple different mounting brackets/studs/straps, and also into an immersion probe.
