Safety and Security
Recently, hydrogen energy is focused on an environment friendly society. In this society, hydrogen detectors play an important role to quickly detect hydrogen leak for fuel cell vehicle (FCV) and home use fuel cell. Fuel cell is expected to expand its application such as back-up power supply.
Application examples: Gas leak alarm, carbon monoxide detector, combined alarm for carbon monoxide and methane, carbon dioxide detector, refrigerant gas detector for industrial purpose refrigerator, etc., hydrogen leak detectors, etc.
Environment
These applications can detect with high sensitivity volatile organic compounds (VOC) in air, small amount of ammonia, etc. released by factories and industrial facilities.

Detect various smells: cigarette smoke, cooking smell in the kitchen, cooking garbage odor, pets odor, etc. to purify air by activating ventilators. Health
Super non-invasive examination of living body gases released through breath and skin has recently attracted medical investigation and health care organizations. Concentration in the degree of parts per billion (PPB) is required to detect living body gases. For this purpose, semiconductor gas sensors are the best selection because of their sensitivity to very small gas concentrations.
