With the rapid evolution of technologies within these data centers, power requirements have also changed. Data center architectures have moved from 120VAC and 208/120VAC to 208VAC Delta, 230VAC, and 240VAC voltage levels, with server racks holding more data in smaller spaces.
The Sensata | Airpax LEJ and LUX series are ideal for these UL489-rated applications—their compact size helps achieve the narrow form factor desired for this type of equipment. The LEJ series has also been expanded to support current ratings up to 30A, and its 10kA interrupting capacity provides the performance needed to meet the requirements of high-value facilities. Other features of the LEJ series specifically designed for datacom applications include rear terminal screws for easy assembly and wire routing in tight spaces.
